Last summer, several Master’s, PhD, and postgraduate EU law students, along with young professionals from all EU Member States, had the opportunity to spend one week in various EU institutions in Luxembourg. Below, you can read about how Arthur Morland experienced this EU Legal Summer School.

“The first EU Legal Summer School in Luxembourg offered me a unique opportunity to see Luxembourg-based EU institutions from the inside. Beyond the well-known Court of Justice, the programme provided access to institutions and bodies that usually operate away from the public eye, such as the European Stability Mechanism and the European Investment Bank. What made the experience valuable was the level of engagement. Instead of formal high-level institutional presentations, we had insightful discussions with senior EU officials, in both formal and informal settings. Our lunch with CJEU judges and Advocates General remains a highlight. Set against the old-town charm of Luxembourg and shared with a diverse group of participants, the week was truly memorable.”
